About

Streetly Anti-Coronary Club was founded in 1978 to help people lead healthier lives and reduce the risk of heart disease. Most early members were unfit and under pressure from modern living, but soon took part in weekly keep-fit sessions with a qualified instructor, tracked their weight and blood pressure, and quickly saw results. Many went on to enjoy fun runs and even marathons.

Today, the Club continues with the same spirit. We meet every Thursday at 7pm at Blackwood Methodist Church, welcoming members aged 30 to 80+. Sessions last an hour and are led by our long-standing instructor, who keeps things varied, purposeful and fun.

  • Non-competitive: work at your own pace

  • Optional weight and blood pressure checks

  • Friendly, supportive atmosphere for both men and women

All this for just £5 per session - and your first one is free!

Come along and see how enjoyable getting fitter can be.
